Sue Poggioli trained and worked as a graphic designer and illustrator working in publishing and advertising prior to studying fine arts.

Her own art has been central to her career as an artist. Her primary interests in the visual arts have been painting, drawing and printmaking. Through these different mediums she has expressed that which is most important to her. She has sought to develop her work and exhibited on a regular basis.

A teaching practice has flowed from this as a natural extension of being a mother of four along with a desire to enrich the experiences of others, particularly children and those that deal with them. She has found in turn that this contact with children has been a deeply enriching and vitalizing experience in terms of her own work.
